clutch chatter with no slippage and transmission mount

hello

i have been having clutch chatter for for about 1/2 a yr now

i have a 1990 22re

i just changed the transmission mount.
wow what a differance..
its only been 2 days but there is a big differance..i have very little to no clutch chatter anymore..
the mount was sooo bad its was 20 yrs old

with the new mount the transmission sits up about 1/2 to 1 inch higher..
so if you got clutch chatter check that 1st.

good post, my shifter shakes alot if not under load, but the transmission and tcase mount looks good, i dont think its a "problem" but if theres a simple solution ill fix it lol

Somebody posted a thread about the same issue a couple of days ago. He fixed his by replacing the transfer case mount.

That "Somebody" who posted this already is shafner30. Hey shafner30, what happened? You posted a week ago that a new tranny mount fixed your problem??

it could be hot spots on the flywheel surface.

Or the clutch was replaced with out getting the flywheel resurfaced? Mine did that a bit where it would chatter after taking off and grab just fine when fully engaged.

If it's a ceramic clutch, they DO chatter.
