well im looking for a 2nd gen 4runner cant get one around here every one i see is usally sold before i can get ahold of it

im looking for a v6 runner would prefer a 5spd in decent condition
im located in east tn looking to spend arond 3000 to 4000 on one

i was just looking at a mechanic special in ATL, 94 SR5, 3.0, auto, 4x4. The owner just re-did a headgasket job, and let it set, now it wont start. he's asking $1000.

I looked at it, but I have too many trucks in the driveway at the moment.

The rear had been 'repaired' because you can see some bondo work under the poor repaint. But the car has NO rust, and for the $ is probably a great find, and probably does not need much to get it into DD status.

 

I'm in Knoxville. I have a 1990 4 runner with a new V-6 engine around 40,000 miles ago. It runs great and the A/c is ice cold. It is an automatic but runs and shifts great. It is white with a black stripe down both sides. TRD off-road emblems on the rear quarter panels. It has stubbs sliders welded to the frame. 1997 model wheels with Cooper discoverer 31's.
Rear spare tire moved underneath and I mounted a diamond plate tool box to the swing out tire carrier for tools and recovery gear.

This one is Tellico tested and passed with flying colors. The runner is my daily driver - last week I put over 1500 miles on it - I would trust this one to go anywhere. I'll take $4500.00 for it. Oil changed every 3000 miles by me - using Castroil 10W 40 and a Max Guard purolator filter.

I have on for 3800. 3.0, 5 speed, 208,000, just got new clutch pressure plate and rear main seal. price is negotiable
