Dirtbag Exhaust System

Okay, me and my buddies are fairly "thrifty" and have come up with this exhaust system we are going to try out on my 1993 V6 4Runner.

I understand that the stock system is restricted and we are opening the exhaust from the down pipe to a 2.5" pipe that connects to a Dynomax 13.25" long hi flow catylitic converter with one 2.5" inlet and outlet each. the pipe will go from that into a stock muffler from a 2005 C6 Corvette. It also has a 2.5" inlet and outlet. We are ending it off with a dual exhaust tip from a 2004 GTO.

I figure this will open it up a bit and give me some better gas mileage without killing all of my back pressure. I do not feel like forking out the dough for the headers because $500 seems like a ton of money right now to me. Are there any other things I can do from this standpoint to free up some ponies and mileage??

Thanks,
Josh

I think your neighbors are gonna be a little upset when they go outside and find the exhaust systems on their cars are torn up...

It's not like dual exhaust redneck edition tips where one is coming out of each side of the truck, there will be two side by side tips that are polished and exit right where the stock exhaust pipe comes out. I think it will look alright.

the nissan mine took out was an I4, had it been a v6 it would have spanked me. But looking at the specs of both vehicles its a close race. My reaction time and the 3vze's bottom end torque won that battle!
