rear off road bumper and spare tire carrier

Anybody know where I can buy a rear bumper/spare tire carrier for a 2000 4Runner? The only ones I've seen are custom made.

Matt is correct nobody makes one to my knowledge and the ones that will make one for you usually need to have you Runner/Truck there while they build it. Armorology make an awsome set-up but they are in Colorado and need the vehicle.

If you find someone to make you one check out Ric's (Ric) to see his. BruceTS also makes a bad to the bone version.

Alatao Auto in Aurora CO (http://www.alatao.com/) Will soon be releasing a new off road bumper for 3rd gen 'Runners. As far as it stands now, they are planning on make them available for shipping. The "Shell" of the rear bumper is consistent enough through the years of the 3rd gens that they can produce a bumper. However the stock bumper mounts to the body and mounting a bumper to the frame can very from year to year and even from truck to truck with in a model year. The plan as it is now is to have a generic mounting system (like an off the shelf class III hitch) That the purchaser, a local fab or hitch shop can do the final fitment.

Alatao does a lot of work for Slee Offroad. The best example can be found on Slee's latest project the Valkvark, which was featured in 4wd Toyota owners this month. Alatao did a big chunk of the body and fab work. More pictures can be found here:

http://www.sleeoffroad.com/technical...kvark_main.htm

The 4runner bumper will be simmilar and have the same features, but will be scaled down proportional to the 3rd gen

Alatao just released their line of 4runner and Taco sliders

Just a small note on this. Oleg did all the awsome body work on this, however the bumpers and sliders are Slee products.

KayMar does make one if you can find someone to import it for you. It is a nice bumper and has a swing-away tire carrier available for it. It uses the factory corner pieces.

has been dicussed before. About the only off-the shelf carrier you will find is the one from CBI. Steve is a great guy to deal with, I was going to have him make one for me, but I am waiting because I now need a whole new bumper.

http://www.cbioffroadfab.com/index.php

that one on the LC pickup looks really beefy, and nice, but I'd hate to see the price on it. I plan on duing a CBI carrier, and a BruceTS bumper, way cheaper for something I'm going to beat to heck.

That is one that he made for a 4th gen. Prices are reasonable too, about 175 plus shipping.
