I am a rookie in car repair. I need some infos How to repack front wheel bearings correctly without over torque and burn the bearings. I plan to take out the Brake disk for resurfacing and re install. I appreciate any write-up or inputs you might give me.

That's an awesome writeup! I need to do my pads and bearings soon too. Are there any parts that one needs besides bearings? I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the locking tab washer thing was a one-use deal. Oh, and is the spindle nut socket just a plain 54mm/2 1/8" socket, or is it special? I needed a four-pronged socket for the hub nuts on my old Ranger, for instance.

Get locking tab washers just in case you break the ones you are removing. A regular 2-1/8" socket worked for me. Don't forget the bearing grease, mineral spirits or brake cleaner, and gaskets. You may need a brass bar to help loosen up the cone washers. Also, make sure you have a container for all your parts, otherwise you may lose parts. Lay everything out in the order of removal, so you don't have to guess what goes where. Taking pics may also save a lot of headaches later.

look in the yotatech tech section. there's also a write up on replacing the inner steering knuckle bushing with needle bearings... I sould suggest doing that at the same time.
