I need help, I am stumped and don't know where to go from here. I own a 93 pickup 22RE manual trans. It started running hot, I replaced radiator cap and thermostat...didn't help. It is also running EXTREMELY rough. Kind of a rocking type of idle sound....really loud. It doesn't shut off or anything though. It has almost 200,000 miles on it but I want to get more. If any one has any ideas it would be appreciated. Thanks, Frank

 

is your radaitor cloged

 

Check your coolant level. Is there any disappearing? Check under your oil cap for a white residue. Sounds to me you might a have a blown headgasket on your hands. To verify, do a compression test.
