SoCal/Bako area elocker modder?
Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
Is there anyone in SoCal or Bakersfield that has experience with the housing modding and electrical needed to retrofit an elocker into a 2nd gen runner? I'm willing to pay.
I've moved to a place that has no garage/work space, so I can't do it myself.
thanks.

Not sure if you are looking for a shop or someone private to do the work?
If you are looking for a shop and willing to travel YotaMasters in Corona will most likely do it - www.yotamasters.com
2 other posibilities if that doesn't work are T&J Performance in Orange and California MiniTrucks in Montclaire

I moved down to Valencia to go to school, and it's taken most of my time.
What did that $450 include? Cause I need the diff regeared as well.

joel,
whoa, youre down here in the SCV?
the price did not include regearing. i have a stock 4.10 elocker but im still saving up for the other parts, so he quoted me $450 for the labor to modify the rear axle + putting everything in and back together. i think its a fair price.

Yep, I'm in the SCV now, Stevenson Ranch to be exact... it's pretty boring.
yeah www.yotamasters.com gave me a quote of $400 to set up the diff, and another $450 to put the locker into the housing and hook up the electrics.
so if I bring them all the parts/gears they'll do it for $850
