Ipod to factory radio

I'm putting this in OT so more of you guys can see this.

Well, first off it's back ordered a ways. Also, after some more thinking, I don't like how you can only play certain music on playlists. I like to browse my ipod sometimes and choose the song i'm going to listen to. So, i went with this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-bxrt5hT...p?i=581PA11TOY

This one as a setting where you can play off of playlists only, or have full function of the ipod.

Just got one yesterday at Target for my wife's '99. Audio quality is pretty good.

Tried this:

But the audio was really POOR quality with no volume.

Before I'd spend $270 or even $99 I'd probably save up for a new Alpine deck with the iPod interface.
