I am selling my 85 4runner. I am located in Lexington, KY. It has a 4 inch lift, springs up front, blocks in rear and a 3 inch body lift. 35 inch mud kings with about 6000 miles on them. Detroit EZ locker in rear with 5.29s front and rear with about 6,000 miles on them. Mid 90s mustang seats in great shape, driver's side has a small cigarette burn, there is no rear seat. There is no carpet. The dash is in great shape and I have most of the interior trim except for the cover piece for the inside of the tailgate. Previous owner rebuilt engine and tranny and they have about 25000 miles on them. The body has about 180000 miles on it. New timing chain and guides, new clutch, cleaned throttle body, new belts and hoses, new water pump, desmogged engine. Also just tuned up with new plugs and wires, cap and rotor. New exhaust manifold. Engine runs good and strong. It has a slight rocker tap that cannot be adjusted out so there is probably wear in the stud. When you adjust it out it goes away for a day or two then comes back. Truck is set up for offroad and is ready to be driven anywhere. This is not a daily driver, it was mine for a few months, but it is not really set up to be comfortable. The speedo cable has broken internally and so the speedo no longer works. It could also use a front knuckle rebuild as the seals are starting to weep. There is rust around the fenders and 2 golf ball size holes in the interior (see pics). It is the 22re fuel injected engine with a 5 speed. I am asking 2800 or best offer. I am taking all reasonable offers into consideration as I need to sell this thing. I am only selling because I found a great deal on an 88 runner that is more of what I wanted in the beginning and I need the money from this one to pay my debt on my new one. Alright folks, I am still interested, but we seem to have a transport problem...anyone know a reasonable way to get a vehicle cross country for less than about $$300-500. Chime in here, this is the only hold-up to me buying it!!!
