Custom topper for bobbed bed

I snaped a picture of the truck coming inside today, thought I would share the new look.
I cut up an old topper and fiberglassed it back up to fit my bed bob. I had to put the top on and built a carpeted platform so the dogs could ride along with us. Turned out allright.
I think I might take out the "bubble" on the top next summer but I thought the dogs might need the head room as I have the floor raised to make room for storage under it. I think i will cut out the bottom and make a "trunk" where the spare used to be, and then the pups will have plenty of room without that bubble.
You can also see the bumpers I made a while back a little. I have some big D loops I am going to replace the eye holes with sometime. I also might make a little skid plate ala arb bumpers.

I think you missed your calling...when you heard "body man" the man upstairs meant "auto" body.

Quite possible, but I have noticed that it is a common skill amongst my peers Maybe it goes hand in hand. HAHAHAH

I did a similar mod. Picked up the topper for a case of beer, spent about $200 getting it where I wanted. A lot of fun, really. Ended up throwing it away.
