Who's in?

A couple local guys (members Acreves and Runner126)and I are planning on hitting MJT for a quick day run.

I just noticed on the So Cal chapter of TTORA they're planning a Fright Night event the same weekend. But that doesn't really start until Saturday afternoon. We're thinking of starting the trail around 10, finishing up in HV in the afternoon.

Actually, the Point Mugu 4X4 Club is running their 11th annual Fright Night, I was thinking about going up for the day to take some photo's.

 

We should meet up in Valencia around 9:30 and then head up so we are actually starting the trail at 10. Sack lunch again?

how about at the Lyons In N Out at 9:15 actually...ya?

 

I might be able to go but could you give me that address to that Lyons In-n-out so I could get some directions??? Looks like I'll be needing a locker, you guys think I'll get by w/open diffs???

 

Lockers are not nessesary, they just make it easier. Calrockx and I both have rear lockers. Runner126 has open diffs. IN n Out is located at 25220 The Old Rd. Newhall. If you decide to come we could probably meet you where the 126 hits the 5 so you don't have to back track.

 

Are you guys still going after the recent rains??? Just wondering how the trail is and if its still open. Heard that gorman had a flash flood warning.

it's still on.

it'll be dry the next few days till saturday at least.

 

The rain just makes the trail that much better and it should be fine by Saturday, looks like I'll be making this trip......

you wouldn't be the only one without sliders.

not necessary, but that'll determine which lines you should or shouldn't take.

 

I used this time on the other forums. But I'll be there at 9.

 

yeah, that's fine. i was just saying 9 for those that like to show up fashionably late, then they'll get there "on time".
oh wait, that's me.
but yeah i'll be there between 9 and 915.
