WTB: 1996 4runner Factory Manual

Still looking for one, anyone happen to be unloading theirs? I have an 87 FSM for sale or trade.

Are you aware of the TIS website? Download all you want in 24 hrs in PDF form for $10. I use it all the time. Just an idea...

Yeah I had heard about it, just didn't want to spend all day downloading each individual page. I also am a little old school where I just like to have the paper manual there in front of me to check it while I work. Have you used the TIS before? Thx!

Yes, I have. And it really isn't bad. I like it a lot in fact. You download an entire section (for example front brakes) instead of page by page. Then you can save to individual folders and print the pages off as you need them.

The FSM is nice to have in front of you - I agree. But the cost is so dang high it's almost worth the extra tools you could buy with the money you will save by going TIS.

Hey, for $10, give it a try and see what you think.

So you're saying Chilton's is better than the Factory Manual online? I have used both, and Chilton's is way too general. Nothing beats the FSM, even if it is online.
