ok before people start to yell, yes i did search but didnt find out exactly what i am looking for, if anything i have more questions, so i started my own thread. i ordered 2 short side LC coils (thanks 914runner), and BJ Spacers and OME shocks from TRDparts4u (thank you strap22) my questions are:
1) do i NEED to do the pan-hard drop. i am not planning on wheeling it for a bit and dont really have time to order one till school starts at the end of aug. however i will be driving ~2500 miles before then, do i need to do it now?
2) i know i need to extend the brake lines, what is the size do i need. how long and whats the size of the hose.
3) is there anything else i am missing? someone said on a thread regarding LC coils and thats what i am afraid i am doing.

As for the Pan hard bracket I think you will be ok if you are not going to wheel it. With out the drop bracket your drive shaft will hit up against your gas tank and cause some problems(under moderate circumstances like flexing it alot). If your not going to flex it around and play with it I would expect it to be fine. But get one (or make one like me) ASAP.

For brake lines you will deffinetly need longer ones. I am putting on some LC coils soon and have ordered some pro comp stainless lines +6" length all around(im doing a 4" lift). That is an option, you can buy single lines but if your going to lift the front decently then I would just get the whole kit. I got mine from Summit for $80 to my door.

For the over all build you need to do it right. For all the mods you can do to your rig, the suspension is no where to skimp.
with all that said, for your rear lift you will need

springs and shocks (of course)
Pan hard drop bracket and all other bracketry (brake propertioning valve etc)
Possibly new control arms to accomodate added flex and lift
same as to your drive shaft, you will prob be ok but if you do a large lift you may need a longer drive shaft, prob doesnt apply to you. Same for me, i hope.

Im not a total expert on this entire build up, but that is deffinatly important info. If there is more someone can say so.

 

pro comp makes good brakelines, as does marlin, russel, earls, tons of places have ext ss lines for your vehicle

 

well i went to autozone and napa today and neither knew what i was talking about.... napa had solid break lines but not the SS ones

 

chances are you will not find ext brake liens at the local parts store.... racing parts stores have them, some of them or can get them, but your best bet is looking to summit, jegs, nwor, marlin, etc for brake lines of the ext ss variety

well i got the rear springs and shocks in. it only neted me about 2 1/2 inches of lift over my Downey HDs i will get the BJ spacers and brake line extentions on tomorrow.

tires are a long way away for me... i will go to 33x12.50s once i do. these tires only have 24K on them so they are still pretty good.
