For your 95?
Manual trans should be a VF1A chain (shifter on top - no shifter linkage)
Auto trans A340H should be a A340H hydraulic (cannot be separated) w/ADD
Auto trans A340F should be a VF2A chain (shifter linkage on side) w/Manual Hubs
Manual trans should be a VF1A chain (shifter on top - no shifter linkage)

Did it have factory ADD or factory manual hubs?
Far as I know for the 95 the only autos were
Auto trans A340H w/ADD
Auto trans A340F w/Manual Hubs
Look at the transfer case for the linkage to the lever - if it's on the side then you have the A340F trans. If no shifter linkage (electronically controlled) then you have an A340H. I think....
