BigRocks Offroad sliders?

well after the 2nd set of sliders from Demello Offroad NOT being the right size/ fitting right, i am tired of dealing with Demello Offroad. has anyone done business with BigRocks Offroad? they are near my dads house so i should be able to do a local pick-up and had him weld them on there. otherwise i am going to go with Stubbs, but I am never going to do business with Demello Offroad again!

I have Demello Sliders and like them, but unfortunately you had a bad experience with DO.

yeah i am in the Pacific Northwest for the summer. if i was at school, i would make a day trip up to Stubbs and buy them and have him weld them on there. thats why i am thinking of bigRocks Offroad, they are in Vancouver WA.

heres what tehy look like:

$260 isnt bad... beats demellos prices.

Lets just recap that you waited over THREE months, paid for a product, and got the wrong sliders TWICE.....

IMHO, no excuse.

The Big Rocks prices aren't bad..especially once you figure in shipping from Stubbs. IIRC, Yoter (bbb) ordered big rocks bumpers, and liked them.

dude, remove the demello thing from your signature if you're unhappy with them!!

as far as going with roger or richard, they're both great, period. if big rocks is local to you, go with them!

Lets be fair here! You orderd a set of sliders for a 96-02 4runner, I sent you those! Actully I think they were partially won? You then told me that they didn't fit? So I made you a set of sliders that would need the legs trimmed to fit on your 94 4runner! I told you we don't make those but I would for you! We don't have a 94 4runner to measure, I told you this. but would make them so you could cut the legs and make them fit your frame.

You then told me to hold on to them till you moved to your dads house or something for the summer so I did! I also sent you a call tag for your old ones. which I have not recieved back yet?

Please explain to me what I did wrong? Let me know what we can do to make it right?

I just want to set the record straight, Chris has never been rude or demanding with me. I never got one hateful e-mail from him explaining his problems? This is the first I have herd of it.

The first set of sliders was as much his fault as it was mine, I don't make 84-95 4runner sliders. It says that on my website (maybe I need to bold it) But I tried to make it right with a set of sliders that would require him to cut legs to make them fit. Maybe I should have just told him no?

There were several delays on both our parts for getting him the replacement sliders. At one point he was going to drive down here so I could make sure they are right. then he was moving then he wasn't?

If Chris or anyone else had or has a problem with my product all they need to do is e-mail or call me! Everyone makes mistakes even toyota has recalls and problems. The difference is how you take care of it! If I knew Chris was unhappy with his sliders and wanted his money back there would be no problem taking care of him.

So if you have any questions please let me know

Jason will always make things right by you, which is why he has such a good reputation. I have dealt with him several times and frankly, I think it is pretty unfair you choose to publicly flame him without sharing the full story or giving Jason a chance to make it right.

I hope a moderator deletes this entire slanderous thread.

Yea, delete the tread. We need to try and resolve the issue before we go telling people bad things about another company.
