Where do you mount yours? (fire extinguisher)

Where do you mount your fire ext. in your 4runner? I like to see some pictures of mounting spots in 1st gens...

No pictures but to the floor behind the driver seat. Quickest access - if there's a fire I don't want to have to wait for a rear window to go down before I can grab what I need.

fwiw (i know you asked about 4runner...) i have plans to mount mine vertically behind the rear seat belt, in the unused space near the rear window in my pickup.

Same place I had that stainless bottle in pic two mounted in my '90 Extracab I had before the 4Runner.

One of the few things I bought from NWOR back in the early 90s that I was happy with.

yep, good move. it may also go horizontally above the window in place of the clothes hanger hook, but only one screw makes me leery. anyone know if there are more (hidden) mounting sockets nearby, a la the hidden mounting sockets for the drivers-side grab handle? i haven't had my ceiling vinyl all off ever, so don't really know what's hiding under there.

I seen a dumb@#$ in the area the other day that had his mounted on the pillar of the driver side. Bad wreck= wish I hadn't put that there

Against the backwall between the front and rear seats on my 86 pickup. Easy access and its in a safe position.
