People of Yotatech, I need your help finding a new washer fluid box.

With the Dana 44 my fender mounted washer box bit the dust. With the removal of the ABS chunk I have a perfect spot for one under the hood.

So here is where I need everyone’s help. Go out and look at the washer fluid boxes in your older non 3rd Gen 4Runner, all cars and all trucks made by ANYONE.

I need a washer fluid box that is roughly these dimensions.

8" Long

5"-6" Wide

8" Tall

Fills from the top.

An FJ-62 box would be OK, but I bet there is something even better out there. Pumps can mount on any side and I'll just reuse the Toyota ones.

Please don't move this thread to the Fab Shop, I'm not Fabing Anything. Buying Pre-Made.

Cool. Would it be to much to ask you for a measurment? Metric would be fine.

More expensive. Top right looks like a hospital pee bottle.

Nah, I wouldn't move it to the fab shop, I'd move it to the wanted section.

But this isn't your standard want ad so it stays here.

1995-1997 FZJ-80 looks promising as well........

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that Miata though.

Steve,
just measured the Miata one, the width and length are what you need, but it's 10" high,
guess my eyeball measuring isn't what it used to be.

That might work pretty well. I'll see if I can go 10".

Steve, Have you seen the kit Slee Offroad makes?

Slee makes a Washer Bottle Relocation Kit for $47 for 93 - 97 FZJ-80s. Not sure if that's high or low. You mentioned you were looking for just the bottle, maybe what Slee has might work for you.

While Slees kit is just a bracket, an actual photo of the washer bottle itself is very helpful. Thanks.

I measured the cap on the FJ-62 box and assumeing that the FZJ-80 cap is close, more than likely it is, then the late 80 series washer box should fit pretty well.

It's a bit smaller than the Miata washer box.

Good lead, thanks.
