Alternative to Rear Window on 1st Gen

I just got my 85 4runner, and unless I'm missing something I do not have a swtich to roll the rear window up/down. I must use my key. Is there usually a switch on the dash or on the center console?

Has anybody fabbed an alternative to the rear window on a 1st gen?

i would assume there's a switch on the center console. my 1st gen (89) has one, and two friends of mine each have one on their 87 and 88. unless something was really wierd with the 85's you should have one. it should be right by the rear winshield wiper switch on the center console.

Price one at the dealer and then he can make me an offer via email or PM so as not to hi-jack this guys thread anymore. I'll have to dig around through my extra console/dash stuff and find it, but I know I've see one...that wasn't on my own rig now.

There has to be some wiring in there. And it wouldn't be hard to make a switch with a momentary double pole single throw.
