The best truck commercial I've ever seen....

I'm a Toyota fan. Especially a toyota truck fan. And I know there's been a few posts here on the new Tacoma commercials, but I wonder if you've all seen what I believe is the latest '05 Tacoma commercial. I've never had a commercial ever give me adrenalin before, nor have I ever had a commercial inspire me like this one. It's the one where they show all the different older gen Toyota trucks 4wheelin in all these places accross the world and in all kinds of different situations. From old 70's landcruisers, to 80's trucks, to rally trucks, in all sorts of different angles, perspectives and wild places, and then the last 10 seconds of the commercial are the new Double Cab 4x4 Tacoma going through some wild hairy trails fairly quickly with an ATV in the bed with the bed extender. And it says to the effect of "everything we've learned from this (assuming it's the older trucks) has been put into this" (the new Tacoma). Nice Job Toyota! By the way, anyone have a link to this one?

Haven't seen that one yet. www.customtacos.com has Tacoma commercials so they might have it, but the site isn't working right now.

Yeah, I saw the new ads at intro. Very well done. I know what you mean about Toyota heritage, the hit it on the mark. I also got a cool t-shirt with different rigs all over it on a black background, and featuring X-Runner front and center, larger than the rest. I'll scan it and post in a few...

You talking about this commercial? (I only hit record about 1/2 through the commercial, so its missing the first part which sucks) I can't seem to find this commercial on the 'net anywhere, which sucks cause this is my favorite new taco commercial.

Canadian Taco Commercial (Right Click Save As Please )

Cheers

it sure beats the new pathfinder commmercial! i saw the new tacoma commercial last week, starts off with shots of the older models and you kind of look and say 'hey, those are the old toys'. then you see the new 05 at the end and it does give you that adrenalin rush! this is going to be a tough commercial to beat, not to metion the truck!

Hadn't seen that one yet, but that was awesome! Bet that one wins some advertising awards. What I wouldn't give to get my hands on the FJ45 pickup, the Artic'd LandCruiser, the Baja runner,....

Thanks for sharing the link!

the sad part is that virtually none of those trucks were available in the US, and very few in canada

That's a pretty sweet commercial, but I have one question. Why is it that truck manufacturers (Toyota, GM, Ford, Nissan, etc.) find it necessary to potray the truck in question getting the piss beat out of it? I understand they are only commercials, and that they are meant to stir the soul and show the 'toughness' of the truck - but we all know that the Taco in the commercial probably needs an alignment and maybe new tie rods after that punishment...

I asked myself the same question the other day after seeing a new Ford Super Duty commercial - the poor truck had 5,000 lbs of rocks dumped into its bed.

Maybe I am too much of a realist!

Have not seen that commercial yet but I do like the one with the pickup bed abuse. Good looking woman too.
