mounting an an aftermarket rear fiberglass bedside onto an 87 4runner

so i've got plans to do some reconstructive surgery to the body of my runner. the reason for this is because of a rollover a few years back and my fenders and bedsides were smashed. i already got the fenders taken care of (somewhat). i slapped some fiberglass on there i bought from kartek, they don't fit perfectly because everything is tweaked but they look decent and good enough to wheel in. now, for the rear fiberglass i've got some questions. any recommendations on the best way to go about this? i heard possibly mounting some kind of inner frame to mount the bedsides onto would work, but i want to make sure it's strong and will hold up to abuse and in the worst case a rollover. if a rollover were to happen, the bedside might be damaged but i want to make sure the rest of my truck will stay in one piece! in the process of doing this, i'm also planning to cut off the entire roof and install a full body cage. if anybody has done anything similar to this or has any suggestions please let me know! i'm tired of driving around a truck that looks like someone beat it up with a baseball bat

i was looking more for flared prerunner rear bedsides. my problem is that i plan on cutting off my roof due to an unfortunate rollover. i need a way to mount these bedsides on so that they won't be flimsy. i'm worried about by removing the roof, i'll also remove alot of the strength in the bedsides. if anyone has any information on possibily welding some kind of frame together for the bedside so that it will be just as strong as stock let me know! i'm also planning on fabbing up a full body roll cage. will that give me the strength i need to hold these bedsides on and keep them from being flimsy? thanks!

i imagine you secure them with sheet metal screws and then finish in the body work with fiberglass.

i have nasty rust that i would love to replace with a set of these. if my 4runner only saw street use, i definitely would. trees have a nasty way of reaching out and grabbing my sheetmetal.

This is the only 4runner I have seen with rear glass.
