Broken clutch bracket repair

Well I finally got my butt in gear and ripped my clutch bracket out today.
It's been cracked for a while but just recently really started to fall apart.
so I had no choice but to get at it.

Just a few tips if anybody is thinking of doing this themselves.
Take the steering colum out. it's only a few more bolts and will make your life MUCH easier. I didn't when I took the bracket out and cursed and fought
with it . When I put it back in I relented and took out the colum and it was soo much easier.

We ended up reinforcing it a bit when welding the bracket up and it seems much better now. Ideally I think if you could tie the clutch pivot with the brake pivot it would be bullet proof.

All in all a pretty easy job. just a pain as it's in such a crappy spot to get into.

Later,
Scott
