BNR Alternators - 22RE Direct Fit/High Output
Just wanted to share my experience with a company I have found mostly positive reviews on. They manufacture what they advertise as a direct fit 120 Amp alternator for the 22R/RE and at under $200 I figured it was worth a shot.
Install was straight forward, just had to remove the fan and shroud to fit my mits in there to access the top bolt. Added an upgraded 8 gauge charge wire.
At idle with heat at max, high beams, cb radio, and a set of 55W fog lights all on my voltmeter still showed 14.2. While idling without any accessories or lights on it showed 14.6 consistently. So far so good! If you folks are interested they have an Ebay store and are based in California.
