Trying to add lights to ashtray and lighter

This has me stumped...I have searched for way to long so I am asking for help finally...lol
I am trying to take the ashtray assembly out of an '89 and install it into my '93 but the harness is different. Assuming the '89 is SR5 or something...But I am hoping to figure out a way to make this work with as little of wiring (I suck at this) as possible.
ALSO...I cannot find any thread where people added a couple LED lights under the dash and hooked them up to the door / dome light. I may want to add those if I can do it all at once. Thank you.

Ashtray harness on 1993 has no lighting wires and is different from the 1989 truck. Also pictured is a single wire plug that used to go to stock stereo. It seems to be a ground that changes voltage while using the dimmer switch, but i am guessing here.

Ashtray light harness on 1989 truck is 4 pin.

Still looking around here for threads regarding this. I will link to them here as I find them.

Hint perhaps...

I spent some time getting my first gen 4Runner lighter and ashtray to illuminate. And it doesn't have any sort of dimming feature, Just on/off.
The second gens are a dime a dozen in our local pick-a-part yards. I'd think it's be easier to go get a used one with the wiring and just plug in.

there are multiple wiring configurations for the different models.. my 87 did not have the little light ring around the cig lighter or the lamp in the glove box. i gathered some of the parts but forgot about it eventually.
