Front end super bouncy

Hello

recently purchased a 90 2wd with a 2.5 inch lift

the lift uses ball joint spacers in the front and coil spacers out back … front end bounces excessively

i replaced the shocks recently with some skyjacker blackmax shocks thinking it would fix the problem

unfortunately it did not. Will the spacers cause the ride to bounce like that? I also replaced ball joints and control arm bushings

any help would be much appreciated

When you say “super bouncy” you mean it’s too easy to bounce up and down?
i run ball joint spacers on mine and don’t have that problem. I wonder if the person who installed them loosened up the torsion bars to compensate for the lift. You could try adjusting them.

Thanks for responding.. anytime I hit a significant dip or bump the front end feels like it slams hard then proceeds to bob up and down for a few seconds after

so you would suggest to check the torsion bars and tighten if necessary?

Yeah unless the shocks are simply not up to the task, torsion bars are the only thing i can suggest.
