my 87 22re automatic idles very low in park and neutral and when i put in gear it drops to below 500 and starts to die e.g., coming to a stop light i have to shift into neutral or keep foot on gas to keep it from dying. i've done everything i can and now i think it has to go to the dealer. before i get killed by the dealer pricing was hoping if there are any last ideas from the experts. what ive done so far:
basic tune up stuff:
- plugs
- wires
- cap/rotor
- air/oil filters
more in depth stuff:
- compression test
- timing check
- vacuum at brake booster check
- replace ecu coolant temp sensor
- replace cold start timer switch
- replace maf
- replace air intake tube (hard and rubber parts)
- replace tps
- replace injectors
- replace o2 sensor
- replace computer

all cylinders seem to be firing ok (if i remove any single wire from the distributor cap while running it immediately dies)

my last step is to replace all the vacuum lines and then it is going to the dealer. maybe it is an electrical problem that i cant find (i only looked for loose grounds or obvious issues as i'm not sure how to test otherwise)
