Blue vacuum switching valve replacement

My dads 89 3vze keeps getting a code 71. Two valves were bad. I replaced one but the blue one ive been unable find. Seems like it might be discontinued from the part number. Anyone know a replacement or am I able to interchange the valves. The blue valve has both pipes in one direction. The other Two have the pipes on opisite directions.

I'm not sure I can tell what VSV you want by "color." The #1 valve appears to have parallel ports http://web.archive.org/web/201403271...74layoutan.pdf , but that valve is for the PAIR. Even though it has nothing to do with the EGR, it appears to still be available from Toyota. 90910-12074.

Maybe if you told us why you think that valve is the cause of your code 71, and what you think the part number is, and how you determined it's discontinued, perhaps someone else can help you.

90925-05047 is the Bi-metallic Switching Valve (sometimes called a Thermal Vacuum Valve). Between the Evap Cannister and the throttle body. I think Jose Pena is looking for one of the three (usually) VSVs on the fender apron.

Good eye on the color, though!

Thank you! Its the vsv blue color

I thought the blue was discontinued using part #

90910-12073

went to junkyard this afternoon and was lucky to find the blue and brown valves. Replaced and tested all the solenoid with 12v and all clicked properly. Checked air flow and the green valve was clogged and the new blue I picked up was also clocked cleaned them all up and now have good air flow.
I'll test drive tomorrow and hopefully no more check engine code 71.
Thank you foe the help

Ah yes I saw blue valve with ports same direction and assumed bi-metallic valve.
