So I keep getting the lean code from the ECU. Bad mileage still and a drop in power is noticeable when the check engine code is thrown. I was poking around in the engine bay and noticed the Reed Valve is smashed. And I don't mean a little, it's pretty much like a tin can smashed. So I know it is just a type of air intake but I would like to replace it and not bypass it.
My question is, does anyone know the years I can use since I'm not finding much info about this little emissions device. I need to goto some wrecking yards on MLK Jr. holiday and find one for this 1992 V-6 3vze Reed Valve.

Any of the 3.0's with the Reed Valve seem to work with this generation of 4runner, I got the replacement part off a 1993 4runner and this part is identical.
Best wrecking yards around Portland Oregon are The Toyman and MazToy by far. Called about 20 of them looking for this minor part and most of them didn't have a clue what I was asking for.
Toyman and MazToy at least seem to know our vehicles and the parts that they need.
