Hey everyone, i am new to this forum. I am having an issue with my rear window. I read other post on here but didn’t see any with my same issue. I just recently put my top back on and now the rear window dash light is on and says tailgate is open even tho it is closed? When I had the top off I could still roll window up, but once I put top on it won’t work anymore. Anyone having any idea how to fix this issue. Any info would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

 

I believe its the .. 3rd bolt back on the drivers side , there is a switch underneath , you need the correct bolt back in place to in act the switch
If your window is working when the top is off , and no bolt in there , someone has "modified" the system

 

damn bro! You are a life saver slacker! I had a different bolt in that spot and swapped it to the factor bolt and it works perfectly now! You got a Venmo or something? I can give you a couple bucks for a beer? I really appreciate it. Made my day!
