i have a 1995 4runner sr5 v6 and im having issues with the rear window. the wiper works and the window goes down but the defrost hardly works if at all and the window will not roll up. i had to press the up button hundreds of times all the while having a friend gently pull the window up until it finally engaged. it however does make a click when i press the button as if it were working properly but to no avail. what do i do? i got the window up but the defrost is still not functioning and i have not rolled the window down for a month now because it will garenteed not come back up. any suggestions?

I had same issue with my 93. Took the panels off, checked & changed the motor and all is working great. 45 minute job. Piece O cake.
There are links if you look for them about this type of problem. Use the search function. It paid off for me.

same problem on my '93, there's a bunch of good writeups on changing the relays out with new and higher amp relays (assuming the motor is still working). Also 'lubing' up the rails is supposed to help quite a bit...

There's too many threads on this to link any single one, I've read at least 5 detailed threads on this here on Yotatech.

This is my next project after I get new spark plugs put in
