1988 3.4 turbo build.

Well I a thread about turning 3 4runners into one but I feel I need to start a new thread about my build. It’s a 1988 3.0 5spd 4 inch suspension lift with 3 inch body lift that is getting a fresh 3.4 with a turbo. Yes a turbo. Just ordered the kit today. Should be here in a few weeks and I’ll start documenting the build from there.

Is it a rear mount system? I had a custom built turbo on my 99 that was a lot of fun. What you using for tuning?

I got a Tacoma kit from crx racing that I’m going to make work and an entire engine management system from LCE performance.

Turbo kit mock up. Needs some refining but looks like it will go in with no major issues.

Did you make the drivers side mani or did that come with the kit?

It came with the kit. It’s dumps on the passenger side. Going to try and make it work but I need to get the motor in the 4runner first and check clearance.
