Hi-Lift Jack (w/wheel attachment) on stock Toyota rims?
Does anyone know by first-hand experience if a Hi-Lift jack can be used on these OEM Toyota wheels with the LM-100 attachment? I'm skeptical, but I realize there's nowhere else on my truck that I can jack it up using a Hi-Lift jack. Talk to me fellow 'Yota'ers! :-)
Thanks for the purchasing advice. NO, I don't want rock sliders though. Way cheaper to replace the wheels with slightly newer 15" Toyota OEM rims from Craigslist. And I just might do that. Perhaps the one's pictured below.
Just a quick follow-up to give this story a happy ending - I bought these slightly newer OEM Toyota wheels seen above for $50. Then I paid $112 to have them installed, balanced, etc. So $162 later I can use the Hi-Lift LM-100 attachment on my wheels. And once I clean-up the old wheels and perhaps sell them on Craigslist my total dollars paid will be even less. :-)
