how to remove the antenna base from fender

I am replacing the passenger side fender on 2006 toyota rav4. the fender is loose, but i don't know how to remove antenna base without break it

In the 86 to 95 trucks and 4-Runners, you have to remove the tire and plastic, unscrew from inside the fender.

Probably the same engineer did it in 2006, so Report back!

The power antenna on my '94 is held in place by a nut on the top. There is a wrench for that kind of nut,

You can remove the nut with a pair of screwdrivers, but you're likely to mar the chromed brass. Get the wrench if you can.

Once the nut is off, to actually remove the antenna and drive you need to remove the fender liner. By then, it's all pretty obvious.

Of course, I have no idea what kind of antenna ihong1683 has. A photo might help locate someone with experience in that particular type of mounting.
