Throttle cam rebound dampening
Hey, I was hoping you all could help me in a) telling me what’s the proper name for this part and b) where I can get a new one.

Scope 103, thank you very much; dashpot is right. And yes it’s a 22re. I’d just got home from work at 2am when I started researching and posted this thread so I just wanted to cut to the chase. I’ll go put the specs in right away!
Damn, with shipping that’s bound to come to over 100$. Reckon it’s any use in trying to restore the old one? Or finding a replacement off an alternative vehicle? That site looks legit though, thanks for the tip!!

Wyoming! I’m from Sweden. I’ve no experience from ordering parts out of the US though, so I guess I should look that up.
Yeah the boot’s torn and besides that it ”sighs” loudly when being depressed and it seems to depress really slowly, so you have to let off the gas one-two seconds before engaging the clutch or else it slips whenever you shift gears. Definitely not a major issue, really just a matter of habit in shifting gears (got the truck only last week), but I figured it was worth looking into since it appeared to be a simple bolt on and could prevent a sticking throttle in the future.

FIrst, if you're paying to ship it that far, consider https://partsouq.com/en/search/all?q=22202-35271 Partsouq is in (wait for it ...) Saudia Arabia! I ordered some gears for my Suzuki, and they did ship them DHL for about $25 to the US. Pretty quick, too. Their prices are quite low, IF they have the part.
The site I cited is a Toyota dealer in Florida (USA). They are definitely legitimate. But, you have Toyota dealers in Sweden, why don't you at least pick up the phone and ask?
More importantly, if you're concerned about throttle action, first try removing the Dashpot. As wyoming9 points out, its function is to slow the throttle as it CLOSES. It shouldn't affect depressing the throttle; your problem is likely to lie elsewhere.
