While looking for something completely different, I came across this:

Yeah right! LOL. That is a very very nice and sharp 4Runner. That has been shown once or twice, but it is still sweet to see anytime. Very cool. I really like the paint on the door sills. That is some wild stuff. :fireman:

I read somewhere that he wanted 2WD because he likes prerunning rather than hardcore trail driving (although if I wanted a prerunner I would still get 4WD).
Supposedly he does desert runs in Baja. I have only seen one picture of it off road and it is on a mild dirt trail. Somebody else said they saw it in a magazine where he was jumping a sand dune and actually airborne a goodways off the ground (I guess he puts the long travel kit by Camburg to pretty good use every once in a while). Let's just hope all that stereo equipment is bolted down pretty good.

I saw that magazine article as well. In the article it said he went to the publishers hoping they'd put his truck in the magazine, and when he saw that they were being wishy-washy, he said, "I'll jump it." He's getting pretty good air in the pic too.
I've seen that truck at multiple car shows around here. It's for actually for sale for "$60,000 OBO"

I think his numbers are off a bit...
From a stated 170HP to 305HP by adding a blower, headers and a K&N air filter???!!!
Toyota states that the stock 3.4 dyno's in at 190HP and the supercharger takes it up to 265HP. That makes those headers worth 40 horsepower...
There's also the more conservative Toyota estimate of 170HP before and 245HP after... that makes for 60HP coming from the headers.
Where do I sign up for a set of those???? That is unless the K&N is doing all the work...
