1988 Toyota Pickup 22re ac R134 adaptor
1988 Toyota Pickup 22re ac R134 adaptor that came in the conversion kit
Is not at correct angle...can't add freon to my system....no room for hookup
Is there an aftermarket adaptor that will work?
Thanks!

It's my bosses truck
The Schrader valve on top of the compressor, when the aluminum adaptor is screwed onto it, there is no water to get the freon hose connector onto it, no room above
I think I can lookup the kit he purchased and post a picture of it and the compressor from another 22re
That will give an idea of what tight spaces there is

Yep that's an 88 compressor. You need to get 90 degree fittings like Wyoming said. Also 85-87 compressors had schrader valves pointed forward and the hoses both coming out of the passenger side of the compressor. This was changed in 88 due to the air injection system being in the way of the suction hose that's why the Schrader valve is pointed rearward and the hose comes out of the front.

Yeah crawler you're one of the lucky ones LOL I think I'll probably wind up maybe cnfa I can get an adapter to go to that high pressure side that will turn at a 90 degree angle toward the front of the vehicle but I appreciate your input though man it's cool thanks
