Adding coolant for the first time on my fresh rebuild. Pressurizing the system and realized that my intake is completely full of coolant. I mean really full:
I'm trying to siphon out the coolant with some vacuum line I have.
How the heck did this happen? I've checked and rechecked all my hoses- all new, new head, resurfaced intake- the water is coming in through this hose:
And this hose:
Both are where they should be. On the bottom side of the intake they're both connected to the assembly at the front of the lower intake where the sensors are.
What did I miss!?
And now there's water sitting in the chamber? In the oil pan? How screwed am I?
