Adding coolant for the first time on my fresh rebuild. Pressurizing the system and realized that my intake is completely full of coolant. I mean really full:
I'm trying to siphon out the coolant with some vacuum line I have.
How the heck did this happen? I've checked and rechecked all my hoses- all new, new head, resurfaced intake- the water is coming in through this hose:
And this hose:
Both are where they should be. On the bottom side of the intake they're both connected to the assembly at the front of the lower intake where the sensors are.
What did I miss!?
And now there's water sitting in the chamber? In the oil pan? How screwed am I?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Found the problem. I am retarded. Crap.
Am I still screwed? Will this ruin my brand new motor if I don't take it all apart and clean it??

Yes, the chambers are full of water. I removed the spark plug from #3 and out poured coolant...
Had a coolant line and a vacuum line reversed. Pressurized coolant into all the vacuum lines. I am so upset.

Just hope you did not get any in the oil .
I would drain that oil just to be safe.
Antifreeze takes out the bearings in a heartbeat.

Looks like you found that the aux air valve lines were hooked wrong.
Just vacuum or compresses air the coolant out. Will be fine. No damage done If you didn't start it.
Change oil

Thanks guys.
I realize that I probably should have not started a new thread for this- just showing some frustration.

As long as you got all of the water out of the engine, you should be ok. I would just keep an eye on things for a while.
