Oil pressure wire broke

Can I just solder the wire from the harness on it? While I was removing the starter the wire harness side broke off. Here's a link of the part I'm talking about.

Nothing special about that wire.

Soldering should be fine.

Thanks for reply. The only reason I asked is because the plastic clip on the harness side is gone. So I would be going directly with the wire. Again thanks for your response.
