89 P/U starts but wont run.
I had to pull a few things to do some maintenance. I got everything back together (or so I thought), and now my truck starts and sounds great for about 3 seconds, then it dies with an accompanying smell of gasoline.
I pulled the distributor during the maintenance, the first time I put it back in it was 180 out so it wouldn't even start. Fixed it, so now it starts but won't run. I'm assuming my issue is probably a vacuum hose routed incorrectly, or something to do with my distributor. I didn't remove anything else that would cause these problems like a fuel line or pump etc..., and my truck was running good before.
Any other ideas? It's hot out and I'm taking a break...

Check out this thread. Sounds like the same problem.

Did you reconnect the air intake from the air cleaner and air flow meter (VAFM) to the throttle body? Leaving that open will cause the symptoms you're seeing. Also leaving off the electrical connection to the airflow meter.
