Final Details of the Mini-AZ4RJ November 9, 2002
Ok here are the details:
If you are not going to be in Phoenix Friday the 8th you need to send me either $15.00 for an individual or $20.00 for a family Arizona State Trust Land Permit. The fine for wheeling without one is considerable so it's just easier to get one.
I will pick one up for you IF you will not be here on Friday the 8th.
If you will be in Phoenix-Tempe Friday the 8th you Need to be at my house between 1-2pm and we will make a trip to get the permits.
Out of town people let me know where you will be staying and you will need to be at my house Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. If you have not e-mailed me that you will be attending you should do so.
Local Phoenix people we'll meet you out at the Florence Junction Texaco at 9:00am.
Here are the run details:
Saturday November 9th, Local Phoenix area people will need to meet up with us at the Florence Junction Texaco at 9:00am.
We will run Box Canyon and then on to Martinez Cabins. From there we will either run Martinez Canyon or head over to the Coke Ovens and out BattleAxe road.
This will be decided on the trucks that turn out for the event. If most are stock we will do the Coke Ovens route. If the crowd wants to run Martinez Canyon we will. We will decide in the morning at the run. All the trails are right there anyway.
More than likely this will be a:
Box Canyon > Martinez Cabins > Coke Ovens > BattleAxe Road run.
As always you will need an Arizona State Trust Land Permit.
Here are the locations for obtaining a permit:
State Land Department
1616 W. Adams
