ok helped a friend with his 96 tacoma he need a timing chain done pulled it all apart put it all back together and i have no dash lights it dont atempt to crank nothing radio wont even come on but the key ringer works head lights work but no tail lights theirs a single wire plug but no on can identify under the distributor and i cant find a single place of it to go its lined in with the oil pressure sensor im kinda new to these 3rzs ive always ran 22rs if someone need a pic of the plug i can try to post a pic

 

Sounds like you had a fusible link open.

Battery negative cable off while doing the work??

Grounds not hooked up correct.

I doubt one wire not connected would cause all those electrical problems

 

Did you drain the battery when you took it all apart? Left the radio going for music while working?..
