Chain Rail - need to know

I'm in the process of a rebuild and i need to know before we continue.

The top of the chain rail appears to of broke. The 2 little arms that stick out.

I don't know if I would re use that or not I just bought one for 10 bucks same thing happened

Yeah, I didn't risk it. Unfortunately this sets me back a few days. New one arrives on tuesday.

Yea hard to find just that part had the sane trouble but everywhere tried to sale me the whole timing chain kit

I was prepared to buy both but surprised that I could purchase just that one. Set me back 35 bucks but it's on the way. Can't do much now but clean and paint parts for the rebuild.

Nice. Good luck with the build. I am fortunate to have a friend let me borrow his garage and help me.

Now putting everything back together is another story.

Me to had 2 guys tell me they could fix it in 2 days cause it was the head found out today it was the pistons can't trust anyone anymore
