05-06 Tacoma Service Manual Online

Hey guys!

I have created a version of the 05-06 Tacoma FSM that displays great on tablets / smartphones for a buddy to work on his truck. I thought I might as well share it with everyone else as well.

Here is the link for the 05-06 Tacoma FSM:

http://www.ether3al.com/taco05-06fsm

I also have created a 93 Pickup manual converted for mobile devices too:

http://www.ether3al.com/93fsm-mobile

**Mod EDIT: As of 1/20/2020 - Links are DOA

The link no longer works. EDIT: What I'm talking about are the individual links to the different parts of the 2005-2006 shop manual on the Custom Tacos site.

The initial link does, but that wasn't what I was talking about. I should have been more specific.

I clicked on the 2005-2006 link, and that part worked. Then I clicked on "Brakes", and that part worked. Then I clicked on "Brake fluid, w/o VSC: Bleeding", and that's the part that didn't work, going to the Custom Tacos site and saying "Oops! We ran into some problems. The requested page could not be found." That was what didn't work. And none of the other links to 2005-2006 that I tried worrk on the Custom Tacos page, that go to the individual areas of the shop manual.

the member that set these up hasn't been around for a bit over 2 years.
Toyota has a habit of sending people who have uploaded manuals emails asking them to remove the links.
I am guessing that it may be a similar issue or the person who did the work and hosting out of the goodness of his heart let the hosting service lapse.

here is your alternative...when I had my '05 Tacoma I paid considerably more

Oh, I thought you meant the link posted in this thread.

As Dropzone said, the paper manuals are a great alternative, and I actually prefer them.

Just for fun, I copied the link "Brake Fluid, W/O VSC: Bleeding", and pasted it into the Way Back Machine over at the Internet Archive.

It looks like the page was saved three times, most recently May 8th of 2018. I clicked on that date and sure enough, the PDF was saved: https://web.archive.org/web/20180508...a/04200310.pdf

The few other pages I tried also work, so as long as you are fine copying and pasting the "dead" links into the Internet Archive, that is another alternative.
