2002 manual

I recently went looking for a manual for my 4runner. Haynes or Chilton. No one seems to have them aroung here. Is the 02 to new? I even looked on line.

From what I understand they have no plans to write one either. I have the 01 Tacoma and can't get any for it either. You can get the owners manuals and you can get the teck manuals for your Kidney from Toyota or you can get it all right here. You didn't get this from me,Lol. Make sure you save this link.

Good stuff, that info is always handy to have. I guess the legality is somewhat of a grey area, but can be helpfull for sure.

check out:

http://techinfo.toyota.com

you can subscribe for a day for $10 and download the entire toyota factory service manual (FSM--which blows chiltons and haynes away) for your particular year truck as a bunch of PDF files. normally FSMs cost upwards of $100.

you can also download all the TSBs, tech training manuals, etc.

well worth the $10 and a few hours of dowloading.

Thanks, guys. For every vehicle I've owned, I've always had a manual, just in case. The Toyota tech info seems like the best. Thanks again

Beartracker, the one that pulls up is for an 03 Taco? Can I change it so that I can see the one of the '02 Runner? Is it basically the same? Thanks again.

You will find very little mechanical difference between the two.If you see something different in the pic they show compaired to what your working on then you may want to get more advice. Also 01 to 04 are real close . Mike
