Do you have the manual Hubs or the ADD system??

Makes some difference.

It also depends on the production date of the truck if you have the newer sealed bearing or the old style bearings able to be repacked in the normal manor.

Just what are you working pretty easy to tell by looking.

BigHoss, take a look at this link and try finding a resource that will help you out on your projects. The Haynes or Chilton books just don't cut it most of the time.

The steering knuckle with axle hub attached must be removed from the vehicle as the bearing is pressed in. You deal with that nut on the backside after the knuckle assembly is off the rig.

Your local Toyota dealer has or can get just the castle nut for you.

Yes, dealer certainly can. It's a lock nut socket with 4 prongs and front end alignment shops/machine shops will have the socket most likely. Or, it may be available at your local auto part store for purchase or maybe even for rent.

I replaced both front bearings/seals/clips a few months ago - without removing the steering knuckle.

I purchased the OTC Hub Grappler kit and then sold it after the job was done.
