Yes, another one of these threads. Last few weeks I got an intermittent check engine light, once a day at most and I would lose fuel, and it would come back. One day the car would not start, read 12.66v or something close. So far I have:

1. Replaced fuel filter
2. Replaced fuel pump
3. Found and repaired an open o2 sensor wire
4. Took apart cap and rotor (both replaced within the last few months)
5. Tightend the screw in the ignition coil

I tried the fuel pump jumper to no avail. Check engine light jumper is not coming on either. Ideally it would come on when jumped and flash to let you know it is on. I have also

1. Checked every ground I can find
2. Checked every fuse I can find

The only other issue I have had in the past was the starter. There was only one other time this has happened recently, fully charged battery, could not bump start it. I just got my new starter from Amazon today and have not put it in yet, but is it even possible that it is related? If I pull the distributor wire it makes the same cranking noise, like it doesn't care.

Did some more testing today. I sprayed stater fluid into the intake and had a friend crank, still won't fire. I then tested for power at the ignition coil and I could not get a read off of it. I also tried pulling a spark plug and grounding it, and then looking for spark, and it would not spark. So obviously the ignitor is not getting power and firing, but what would cause that?

 

Figured it out. Traced power back from the ignition coil to the fusible link, and there was a very loose terminal. Took the time to rerun all my hot leads to the link and redid the terminals. Fuel pump and filter were likely not the issue, but it feels more responsive so it was probably a good thing anyways.
