Truck is having a hard time starting

Hi I have a 89 single cab that I swapped a 3.4 into (98engine 96ecm).
If I drive it for more than 15 minutes and turn it off it will not start again for 5-10 minutes. It will turn over but never actually start.
Things I think are relevant:
-the truck runs perfectly at all times besides this, no crazy idles or anything
-my buddy thinks it's running rich, I don't. It's getting 14+ in town on 33"/12.5's
-I replaced the coolant temp sensor, that wasn't it
-it's 110 degrees out where I'm at and this all started when the weather kicked up a notch. Also I don't have to wait more than a few minutes when it's dark(and therefore cooler) outside.

I don't THINK it's the cam sensors because the truck runs so well... Any ideas??
Thanks for any help you might have
-rob

3.4 is the Check engine light coming on if so what codes are you reading??

Have your fuel line run to close to the exhaust then with the warm temperatures getting a vapor lock problem.

Since it seems to work once it cools down.

Have the Evap system hooked up correct??
