I have a 1987 pickup 4x4 with 22r, Recently went trailing and water got into my distributor and the truck was putting, i took cap off and dried it out, now my truck will not idle at all, it sometimes revs up and down or just cuts off.

anyone who can help i will be much obliged.

 

What else got wet?

Just How deep was the water??

It might need a good few days of dry weather

Get the wires back on correct??

Get any water in the fuel system??
