Burnt wires, wondering where they cennect to

Hello guys! It's my first post here. I have a 1984 toyota pickup extra cab and I hope you guys can figure out where these wires go. A while back a mouse got in it and chewed wires, and it burnt a bunch of wires (they come out of a fuse box on the passenger side and go out the side of the engine compartment) I have since colour matched them and spliced them all together, all except two wires (see pictures) the two wires that are in question is white with a black stripe

Seems like it will only let me upload one picture at a time, the wires I'm wondering about is the two small white ones, the big white one (you may or may it see it in this picture) I know where it goes

UNLESS someone other than the mouse butchered your wiring, I'm sure the white wires with black stripe are ground for your headlight/front markers and blinkers. They ground to passenger side fender. here:

Note that I relocated mine so it's physically directly in contact with ground wire from battery. No point keeping them separate when wire is long enough. Then I free up one screw/ground point for future use.

Not sure about the thicker white wire. It's on a butt-connector so most likely after-market. I encourage you to physically trace it and be safe; One good way to understand our wiring so we do not rely on stealers or incompetent shops.

Thanks for your reply. there are two white with black stripe wires still going to the bolt you marked "white wires with black strip were here" but then there are there are two other little white with black stripe wires that are the ones photographed. So just to make it clear, they are grounds too? The big white wire you see there is know where it goes, just haven't gotten time to splice wire in and get it connected to the wire it goes too

Yeah, white wire with black stripe is standard for ground on first-gens. I believe there should be 4 total on that fender ground - Two ring terminals with two wires per ring.

Awesome thanks!!! I'll probably have to replace all the lines and rebuild the fuel pump since it hasn't been running for 7 years

Hey guys haven't gotten time to work on the truck yet, but is there anything you guys would do pre start up for the first time in 7-8 years other than new oil?

Alright, finally had some time to get the wires all sorted out. I stand corrected, it hasn't run in 11 years. I put a battery in it and rigged it up so I only need one for the time being. I loosend the injector lines right at the injectors so that fuel would be able to squirt out there and not go into the injector (just to kinda flush the lines out and flush the pump out while turning it over). Tightened them back up, and it started right up and purred, with 11 year old diesel!!!. Thanks for all of your guys help. Gotta buy tires now!
