They are similar trucks and some pieces may swap, few or a lot of the pieces MAY swap. The only way to tell is to really look it up, go look in the pick and pull or like and look at it. If it looks like it will fit it might

What all is missing on your trucks ebrake system. The axle assembly? In the cab? Cable? All?

Pictures with questions about the area in question tend to generate faster and more precise answers.
Hope this helps. Good luck

The axle assembly according to the mechanic. He told me to find another truck to get parts from because the parts houses said they didn't make the parts anymore.

Look up the FSM (factory service manual) for your truck. Google is your friend there. Then find the break section see what parts you need and find one in a yard or being parted out. You could also look at a drive shaft break mod. Not popular but an available mod. Just putting it out there.

You could even go to a pick and pull to find out how it comes apart. Practice so to speak.

We need to figure out just what parts you need ??

Are the bell cranks there ??

The linkage that is inside the drum??

Just what is there ??

Rear Cable ?? Intermediate lever ?? Front cable ??

Without the Emergency brake the rear brake shoes need to be adjusted up by hand a real pain in the winter.

If not adjusted up the rear brakes performance just keeps dropping off to they don`t do much stopping.

Possible if that's missing that someone did a rear brake disc swap. Not sure how close you inspected but worth a doublecheck...

rear brakes

No the people that had the truck used it to take people back and forth to deer stands. If they couldn't go around it they tried to go over it. and if it hung they snatched it off.It had no rear brakes at all when I bought it.One side didn't even have any brake shoes.I guess they took the emergency brake braket, springs and whatever off and thru it in a hole somewhere. So more or less starting from scratch.

Do you have anything in the cab? Is there a snapped cable under the truck. I think there is some disconnect under the cab by the frame rail or somewhere. It's a way long shot but if you have a Toyota shop around there you might get lucky. Maybe they have done a disc break swap you might be able to score the hardware cheep. Maybe craigslist. But if it was me I would see what I needed and then find a part out truck on craigslist go over there pull what you need then go home put it together n try and find the exact same truck as yours and take pictures before you pull it apart.

Unless you are in the Southwest the chances of finding any parts that work unless you can find one private are pretty rough.

Cables seize from not being used Bell cranks corrode into the bell crank brackets .

I am not sure if Toyota still has new parts but that might be a option.

Not sure if the rear disc brakes and transfer case brake are an option but it could be easier and faster in the long run.

You gotta love people who just trash Trucks and run them to death.
